Our vision is our mission

MediaInternet, the Net works for media

Connecting buyers and sellers of all media categories using the World Wide Web.

Not a simple task. Daunting might be more appropiate. Nonetheless, that's what we do everyday. We put people in touch through a browser based interface to enable media transactions. We try to do it in the simplest possible manner and thrive when we can simplify a little more. It's the work of artisans, of messengers in an industry of message carriers.

Why tackle the world, and not just the United States?

Media is boundaryless; it travels, enters each home around the world, touches people, browses the mind. There's no way of stopping how far it can go, and how fast. Media is the vessel by which the advertising, the blood of capitalism travels.

At MediaInternet we say: if we're going to do it, let's do it right! That's why from the beginnning we have worked with all the world in mind. The effort is paying off: we now develop systems for places as far as China, and as close as New York. We learn a bit every day: knowledge of several media markets is our biggest asset.

Why do we use HTML and not desktop technologies?

The Web is the only truly infinite means of comunication these days. It grows faster than any other platform and is more deployable than any other medium in the world. And the future is not indicating any other platform with this kind of capability or meant to replace it.

That's why Mediainternet has designed everyhting based on the Web. It´s a tough job, but by combining technologies such as Active Server Pages, JavaScript and ActiveX with Microsoft SQL Server we make applications run fast, alomost resembling the usability of desktop software.

Why cross-media and not just one or two?

No man is an island. No message happens in a vacuum. No marketing campaign is complete if only one or two media are used. Multimedia companies cover the globe, and reign supreme. We build systems to address the modern needs of media organizations, ad agencies and advertisers. We allow people to access not just one or two media directories or online planning tools. We allow you to work with seven media types, planning in the language of publishers, broadcast outlets, media buyers, web content producers, even out-of-home companies..
