The program generates lists, automatically maintains assignments and handles any kind of mail merge to clients. Single or multiple stations can all draw from the same database of information. In depth contact data with over 60 fields is built in and easy to use.
  • Avail System - The only sales productivity software custom built for the TV sales person. The Avail system “kills seven birds with one stone” by taking the standard CPP/reach and frequency schedule and leveraging it as much as possible. Simply by creating a schedule in the software instead of other RF tools, the seller will:

  • Inventory and Dynamic Pricing - This is the Sales Manager’s road map to top performance. All information related to pricing, inventory, budgets and pending schedules is brought together here. A manager can quickly assess his position and make price and strategy changes that are instantly communicated across a PC network to all users. The Inventory and Rate Manager will:
  • Download inventory and revenue information from the traffic system and make it available across the network to anyone with the access rights to look at it.
  • Automate price escalation and de-escalation based on time, demand and the rules the sales manager sets in the system.
  • Deliver rate and inventory information automatically to sales people’s proposed schedules and create a permanent record of what those rates should be.
  • Use over a dozen different options to determine the level of those rates, including demo, product category, account and agency segmentation, local vs. national and more.
  • Allow a manager to make instantaneous rate changes in the system, either by percentage adjustments or by completely overriding the system, and have those changes communicated instantly across the network to all new schedules.
  • Compile all pending schedules to show, on one screen, the inventory left to sell, budget pacing, current rates as of today and a summary of all proposed schedules. Pricing changes are made with full knowledge of every pending spot and rate “in the pipeline.”
  • Graph ten different views of data into the future for single or multiple stations.
  • Create a historical record of inventory levels, revenue and pending volume each day for the most complete pacing and historical information possible.

Other key components

  • Mail Merge - The system supports the creation of multiple mail merge projects, loads and writes directly to up to ten different merge projects. The system is smart enough to allow AEs to create merges with just their contacts while Managers and Assistants can use the entire dataset. The system also supports single document merges which automatically detect which contact last had focus in the system (either from an Account, Agency, Contact or Avail form) and instantly merge that contact information into a single letter.
  • Calendar System – Maintain appointments in a Palm-style calendar, automatically including information from accounts, agencies, and pending schedules. Appointments can be viewed daily, weekly, monthly or in an outline. Sales people can create appointments by double-clicking the calendar or dragging and dropping accounts, agencies or contacts from their lists. Managers can see their personal appointments, those of the entire sales staff and set appointments like sales meetings for all users. Sales people only have access to their personal calendars. Print reports and calendars for today, this week, this month or any range of dates.
